“I Am The Vine, You Are The Branches”
The ministry of Abide is for young adults who desire to grow in the Word of God, build lasting friendships, and gain encouragement to stand fast and abide in the words and Love of Jesus.
What do we mean by ”Young Adults?” Anyone from high school graduates to early 30’s - including college students, singles, career starters, single parents, and young marrieds. But don’t worry, we won’t be checking your age at the door!
If you consider yourself to be a young adult and you are looking to get plugged in, we invite you to come!
Abide is not a “dating scene.” Our meetings are designed to be God-centered while building strong friendships in the Lord.
The ministry of Abide follows the early church’s model laid out in the Book of Acts: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers” (Acts 2:42).
These are the four foundations on which we stand and abide:
- The Word of God
- Fellowship (koinonia)
- Breaking of Bread
- Prayer
Our primary mission is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ. It is our desire to maintain real fellowship, build lasting relationships in Christ, abide in the word, and abound with one another in His Love; so that we will bear - “Much Fruit”.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, will bear much fruit; for without me you can do nothing.” - John 15:5
